Dedicated to:  All friends of Meramec River

The Meramec River is one of the longest free-flowing waterways in the State of Missouri.  While wondering 218 miles from headwaters near Steelville to where  it empties into the Mississippi River near St. Louis, Missouri.

One of the most noted attractions on the Meramec River is the Meramec  Caverns,  a truly amazing place to see.   There are beautiful bluffs and  soaring Eagles who have also made their homes close to the River and  come back every year.  The Meramec State Park boasts an area called Miramiguoa Park where the Indians used to fish and swim and dive off  cliffs.  The river is plentiful in black crappie, channel catfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout and even the endangered Eastern Hellbender.

Rain or shine this fisherman’s got it covered!
